When your watch breaks, do you throw it away? Ever tossed out an old timepiece because it was beyond repair? What about bullet casings – do you ditch them when you’re done? Not Mike Nuriel; he has a passion for sculpting and a vision for the kinds of items most of us discard without a second thought.
This is Second Hand Choppers – where irreparable objects get another chance at beauty (insert dramatic music here). If you’re looking for quality, handmade, one-of-a-kind sculptures you won’t find anywhere else, this is the place. From choppers and insects to cameras and the TIE Fighter (you read that right), these unique works of art are crafted with precision and a meticulous attention to detail. And, of course, an underlying love of both motorcycles and Star Wars. (Because, well, why not?)
Typically 8”-10” in size, the watch parts may not tell time anymore, but they spin a story uniquely theirs. The choppers? They’re usually saying, “Please, don’t sit on me again.” (Just kidding. We know you would never.)
Take a look around the shop, let us know if you have any questions and, please, don’t be afraid to reach out. While Mike creates based on his imagination, he can also sculpt replicas and custom orders – all you have to do is ask!
